The most successful people seem to have an innate charisma. They captivate their audiences when they speak. You have the same power to persuade and charm and you already have the expertise, now you just want to feel confident about your delivery.
PEO York Chapter is glad to present a public speaking workshop with Hugh Wilson who will be teaching how to engage while you speak, how to truly listen, and how to ensure you develop connections and are memorable.
About the Speaker:
Hugh Wilson is a Canadian radio, film and television broadcast industry professional with more than 20 years spent at Rogers Media, most recently as director of broadcast operations. Hugh has worked on more than 100 major-market film projects, including working with the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney. After several years as a television host, he moved from on-camera to off to train thousands of guests and personalities. During this time, he was one of the developers for the Rogers Media Managing Matters program for growing young managers within the Rogers organization. This experience is what lead Hugh to become a corporate trainer, where he applies his vast knowledge of speaking and leadership presence skills, coupled with his passion to help others become confident and mindful as a leader.
Hugh Wilson is the founder of Coach the Voice, teaches with the Schulich School of Business, and has just completed two years playing the role of Dr. Dillon on the Netflix Original children’s series The Pony Sitters Club.
