On July 1st 2017, Bob Dengler and his son Steven embarked on a Helicopter circumnavigation of the world. This presentation will highlight some of the spectacular scenery as well as describing key points of interest along the trip. In addition to the father and son team a retired test pilot Rob (Dugal) MacDuff was on board as a safety pilot and adviser. A number of invited guests including Dave Williams (retired astronaut) ,Guy Lafleur (retired NHL superstar) ,Gerald Haddon ( Hon. Col), Bronwen Evans (CEO True Patriot Love), PeterBregg (Professional Photographer) and Sergey Komarov ( Russian Navigator) also were on board for variable legs of the trip.
The Bell 429 twin engine Helicopter, a state of the art engineering achievement which performed
flawlessly throughout the 35,000 km journey will also be described in detail. Some of the challenges as well as unexpected rewarding incidents will be related as the presentation unfolds. The trip was both very exciting and very grueling as they went through 24 time changes never
giving our minds and bodies a chance to get in sync with the proper time of day.
