2012 University Scholarship Awards
PEO York Chapter was proud to recognize the academic and extracurricular activities of six students entering the first year Engineering program at a Canadian university this year. PEO provided two and PEO York Chapter provided an additional four scholarships at $500 each for a total of $3000. Education Committee reviewed thirty applications to select our six candidates this year. The scholarship recipients are:

PEO York Chapter is offering six University Engineering Entrance Scholarships worth $500.00 each for students from York Region.
These scholarships will be awarded in September – don’t miss out on the opportunity to receive one! Applications will be accepted up to the entry deadline of June 11th, 2012.

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the student’s community contributions, intra and extracurricular activities and their intention to make a career in the profession of engineering. To qualify for this award, the student must be an honour graduate from a secondary school in the York Chapter area and be accepted into an accredited engineering program at a Canadian University.
