It's been 25 years since Honda opened its first manufacturing plant in Alliston, Ontario and the first Honda built on Canadian soil rolled off the line. In that time, they built over 5.4 million reliable, high-performance vehicles that Canadians also happen to love driving. The Civic, manufactured at Alliston, is Canada's best-selling passenger car for thirteen years running. Beyond making cars, Honda strives to make a difference through the way they work. The Alliston plant is a leader in Honda's environmental efforts, recently achieving the goal of sending zero waste to landfill.
