Doesn’t it seem like everyone is just adding the word “forensic” to dress up an old occupation or profession (forensic engineering, forensic accounting, forensic psychology, etc.). Learn that this is not the case, at least not with respect to forensic engineering. Learn how what forensic engineers do is different from what typical engineers do. Learn why engineers performing failure analysis are not necessarily performing forensic engineering.
In this presentation you will also learn what the benefits to society of forensic engineering are, how the engineer’s Duty to Report dovetails into a forensic engineer’s work and why Jacks-of-all-Trades and Hired Guns are eschewed. See real-world examples of forensic engineering and how it can impact your day-to-day life.
