Helical Pier/Anchors and Micropiles/Rock Anchors

Of interest to geotechnical and structural engineers, these deep foundations support medium and heavily loaded permanent structures in compression, tension and lateral applications. Some advantages to using these types of deep foundations are there use in tight access locations and minimal or no vibrations or spoils during installation. These foundations are typically used new construction, shoring, environmental remediation, communication towers and solar arrays.

The presenter is Dino Vito, P.Eng., president of EBS Geostructural. Receiving his Professional Engineer’s License in 1997, Dino Vito anchors the EBS team with over 17 years of experience in deep foundations. A graduate of the University of Waterloo, he completed both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Applied Science with a specialty in Geotechnical Engineering, Dino has long been the driving force behind EBS’s growth and expansion. Not one to rest for long, Dino enjoys spending time with family, and physical fitness when not planning our company’s next move.
